Since 1982, the percentage of people in this world living in poverty has more than halved (52% down to 22%). But this is not enough. I can not go on living the way I do knowing that there are approximately 1 biilion of the 2.2 billion children in the world are living in extreme poverty. With 1.4 billion people living like this in total.
I went to a Global Poverty presentation. I can choose to turn away from the solutions but I can no longer say I didn't know how to end extreme poverty.

This website is great for helping us all to have a better awareness of the issues and what we can do. A movie will be released in the near future that will educate us about the issues. There is hope for a better world. Erradicating poverty isn't just up to the superheros and the saints. We can all do our bit.
